Workout of the Week, Hero Edition

This week, we’re bringing you a special workout of the week, a hero workout, a little early. Not only that, it’s a workout that thousands of other people around the world will be doing with you today. Today is Memorial Day, and this is “Murph”.

From, this hero workout honors Lieutenant Michael Murphy, U.S. Navy, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005. Today, use your workout as a way to remember the fallen heroes who paid that ultimate price. Myself, I did my hero workout in memory of 1st Lieutenant William J. Donnelly, U.S. Marine Corps, killed in action in Afghanistan on November 25, 2010. Will was a classmate of mine at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, he lived across the hall from me during our first class year. Will married one of my best friends, and deployed to Afghanistan less than a month later, where he made the ultimate sacrifice, along with other Marines from Darkhorse Battalion.

Use your workout today to honor those who have fallen.
